After El Paso, Thebes and I drove back to NM.

There’s some fun gas stations in this state.

We had heard Silver City was a cool town and decided to visit.

Northern New Mexico was still snow covered in March so we were looking forward to warmer temps in the southern part of the state.

Yeah I know!
We still had a fun visit. We went to some art galleries.

And visited some thrift stores. This jacket was super groovy and reminded me of my friend Ellen:

It was quite the arty town.

This cabin was by the visitor center and was used in a movie that was filmed there.

After Silver City we drove back home.
OMG, Twilight! Did you buy that DIVINE granny square jacket?? It looks faboo on you! Just imagine how you could accessorize it? You’d be the grooviest fashion chick in Taos!!!
Oh yeah….Silver City looks like an interesting town.
I saved the photo of you in the granny square goodness. I may just have to copy that jacket!!!
Ellen-Thank you! I didn’t buy it because the squares were actually matted pretty bad. But it was a good design-nice and comfy.
