For New Year’s Day Thebes and I decided to hang out on the beach. Our hotel was a cheaper rate because it wasn’t on the beach. But it was only a five minute walk away.

Waikiki Beach is very long and very crowded.

There were huge buildings all along the beach.

I decided to take a surfing lesson. I had surfed once before in the Dominican Republic. That’s me on the bottom right.
