Shrug and Noro love

Progress on the Fisherman shrug is really coming along. It’s so amazing to see my handspun actually becoming a garment. I love it!

Abbey loaned me some needles for the ribbing. I should have knit the whole thing on metal needles because th yarn just slid across them like butter. I’m binding off here:

Next up is weaving in the loose ends and blocking it.

The only thing left on the needles is my Noro Tubey. I am so in love with Noro yarn. This picture reflects the colors better:

  1. Hey, tell us some more about that bind off you’re doing. Isn’t that a special one for binding off loosely if you don’t have a larger sized needle to bind off with??

  2. OH yeah, forgot to say that the shrug is gorgeous and I can’t imagine a better pattern for the yarn or better yarn for the pattern!!!!
