Nina Silfverberg is another artist that will be in the Beyond The Fringe show.

Nina says, “Nina Silfverberg has worked as a textile artist and costume designer in the performing arts, all over the world, nearly eighteen years.
Currently Nina is immersed in the world of fibers, wool and felting. She recently finished a touring exhibition in Finland with enormous interactive felted woolen sculptures. Locally her work has been seen at the Millicent Rogers Museum in the Originals 2007 and Arts in the School Program 2009 exhibitions and at Loka Artspace in 2009.”

Hey! I love the images… you have this thing with ‘forks’ — forked ‘tongues’ of the scarves, the ‘fork’ of the ears on your beings and robes… kinda coo… reminds me of wild things… foxes, devils, flames, snakes, cats, weasels…!

totally it is reminds me of wild things also. Nina did the costumes for Max and the Wild things back in 1998?? in Edinburgh. The first show I ever took my son to.
