The Taos Wool Festival was last weekend and it was such fun! We had a Ravelry meet up and guess who came?

Jess and Casey, founders of Ravelry! They were super nice and cool! Thanks to them I’ve met so many wonderful people in Taos and I’m so grateful.

Mary-Heather, Ravelry employee, and her adorable dog Charlie also came. She’s awesome as well and now lives in New Mexico so hopefully we’ll get to hang out again.

Abbey joined Merce at her booth of felt and yarn goodness.
Check out Merce’s ribbons!

I saw these cool felt pincushions at one of the booths and want to make one!

Crazy hippie knitting!

Funky felt pouches.

A cute felt ornament.

JWM Fibers was back and yet again had stunning clothes.

Yummy fleece.

There was pretty yarn everywhere.

There was another fleece painting this year. How cool to paint with wool.

Chile ristras! I bought the pattern from Ellen’s Wooly Wonders.

I brought home two of these cat toys. Prana went wild over them.

Felt curtains! I have to make these someday.

Three Bags Full was back again.

I bought some pretty green fleece from them.
Tara won a 2nd place ribbon for her plied handspun. I’d like to enter some handspun myself next year.

I tried to get a less blurry pic with Jess and Casey. This one’s in focus but I’m making a funny face.

And now for lots of adorable animals. They make me wish I had tons of land to have a farm.

My next post I’ll show my new yarn.
